Kolaportið is a huge flea market in Reykjavik. You can easily spend a whole day there rummaging through stuff. I managed to find several things there to add to my already bulging bag. Not sure how I am going to get everything back to NZ!

There are some great second hand shops in Iceland. My favourite, of the ones I visited was definately Frúin í Hamborg in Akureyri (www.fruinihamborg.is).
